This Privacy Policy explains how OptiMerc collects, uses, and protects personal data. We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Danish data protection law.

Account data (name, email, hashed password), subscription and billing data, usage data (audited URLs, scores, audit history, monitoring settings), technical data (IP address, browser type), and communications.
To provide the Service and process your subscription (contract), to send service and transactional emails (contract), to send onboarding and product emails (legitimate interest -- opt out any time), to improve and secure the Service (legitimate interest), and to comply with legal obligations.
Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database and auth), Stripe (payments), Brevo (email), Anthropic (AI audit processing), Google PageSpeed Insights (performance data).
Some providers are outside the EU/EEA. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms for those transfers.
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the processors above or where required by law.
We keep your data while your account is active. After deletion, we remove or anonymise your data within a reasonable period, except where law requires otherwise.

Encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls are in place. No system is completely secure.
